If using the projector, open the remote locker with the code that you received via email.
Raise the silver front Optoma remote over your head and point it straight at the front of the projector (towards the lens), and then press the "On" button.
Wait a minute for the projector to warm up. If you look directly at the lens, you'll see a white light while it's warming up.
Ensure that the projector is on source HDMI 1, and use that button on the remote to select it, if necessary.
Navigate to your task below (in blue) and then click on your device type / connection preference to see the instructions.
Shut down instructions:
Projector bulbs have a limited life span. Please turn it off when you are done by pushing the "Off" button on the Optoma remote. It'll ask you to confirm, and then push "Off" a 2nd time.
When done with the Sony amplifier, please turn the volume down and power it off.
Please return the remote(s) to the remote locker and scramble the numbers.

Use the remote to turn on the projector.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit. Use the small round Source knob to select source "SAT/CAT TV"
Connect your personal Mac laptop or iPhone to the Robinwood Station Wi-Fi.
On your personal Mac device, open Control Center, and tap theScreen Mirroring button (looks like 2 overlapping rectangles)
Select Station Bay (Apple TV) from the list of devices.
If an AirPlay passcode appears on the projector screen, enter the passcode on your Mac laptop or iPhone.
To stop mirroring on your device, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring. Or press the Menu button on the Apple TV remote.
Samsung / Android devices, will not work with Google Pixel phones
Use the remote to turn on the projector.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit. Use the small round Source knob to select source "Media.box"
Connect your personal laptop or Android phone to the Robinwood Station Wi-Fi.
Wait for the ScreenBeam device to power up and you'll see a "Wireless Display Ready to Connect" on the screen after a few minutes. Thanks for your patience!
[Samsung devices] On your device, double swipe down from the top and select"Smart View"
Select and connect to RobinwoodScrBm.
Your Samsung device will be mirrored on the projector screen. Rotate your phone to landscape mode to take up more of the screen. For full screen, select the cast logo (which is like 3 waves bottom left of a rectangle).
All other devices
As a wired alternative that works across all devices, you can use the HDMI cable:
Use the remote to turn on the projector.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit. Ensure the Volume (largest far right knob) is set to 15 or lower.
Plug the HDMI cable on the podium into your computer port. Please bring your own adapter if necessary. We do not have a USB-c or a USBC to HDMI adapter at the Station.
Make sure your computer video is set to share with the HDMI output.
On the Sony amplifier, use the smaller Input knob to select GAME.
For audio: On the Sony amplifier, press the MOVIE button and select HD-DIGITAL.
All devices
Use the remote to turn on the projector.
Power on the LG Disc Player and insert your Blu-Ray or DVD.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit.
Ensure the Volume (largest far right knob) is set to 15 or lower.
Turn the smaller Source knob and set it to BD/DVD.
Adjust the volume to your liking with the large volume knob.
All devices
Power on the LG Disc Player and insert your music CD.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit.
Ensure the Volume (largest far right knob) is set to 15 or lower.
Turn the smaller Source knob and set it to BD/DVD.
Push the AFD/2CH button on the Sony amplifier until you see MULTI ST.
Adjust the volume to your liking with the large volume knob.
Bluetooth to Sony amp
The Sony amp is Bluetooth capable, so you can stream audio by following these instructions:
Place the personal device that you want to pair so that it's near the black Sony amplifier.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit.
Ensure the Volume (largest far right knob) is set to 15 or lower.
Locate and push the Bluetooth button on the Sony amp.
Open the BT settings on your device to connect to the Sony amp (STR-DH590).
Turn the smaller Source knob and set it to SAT/CATV.
Adjust the volume to your liking with the large volume knob.
If there is no sound, press the small horizontal INPUT MODE button on the Sony amplifier until the display reads ANALOG.
Connect your device via stereo jack
You can play audio by plugging into the provided stereo jack, or use the Bluetooth instructions below:
Plug your device into the 1/8" stereo jack on the podium and turn the device volume up.
Power on the Sony amplifier with the button on the left side of the unit.
Ensure the Volume (largest far right knob) is set to 15 or lower.
Turn the smaller Source knob and set it to SAT/CATV.
Adjust the volume to your liking with the large volume knob.
If there is no sound, press the small horizontal INPUT MODE button on the Sony amplifier until the display reads ANALOG.
